Phil, regarding the approaches in to Heathrow. Do you select these in the navigation menu and then start a flight at Heathrow or how can I replicate these?
-
Dear Jet-Pack (IPACS)
v20.22.01 A320 La Palma / Madrid
The plane has missed the SID (the 1000 ft instruction).
Madrid, the plane caught the ILS of 18L, suddenly at 2500 callouts, cavalry sound alert, autopilot disconnected, I set on the autopilot and APPR, the plane stabilized to the ILS of 18R where I finally land.
I confirm that with auto landing lights OFF that someone’s is switching my landing lights.
The spoilers are armed of disarmed while taxiway. It seems linked to the throttle usage.
Thank you. And I continue my Europe tour…

Situation: iPhone 12mini; FS2022; A320; EDDM - EDDN; FCU FL140 managed mode; MCDU INIT page FL140
when enroute between EDDM and EDDN in FL140, after pushing the "time skip" button, the aircraft skips a few miles and ends up in "open climb" and an new selected altitude of FL320.
regards, Timo

Did you manually enter the FL140?

I tried spawning the aircraft at altitude near Heathrow and also using the menu to set up a takeoff and short final/long final and for both times it crashed on me

Hello Jan,
yes - I entered FL140 both on the INIT page of the MCDU and in the FCU altitude window (and pushed for managed mode) before takeoff. The bus also levelled off in FL140, before i made the time skip.
The default setting on the INIT page was FL320, and after the time jump, there cruise flight level in the MCDU and FCU has been reset to FL320.
regards, Timo
PS: it's the same when i enter e.g. the recommended "OPT" FL180...

I made one already as I found a few nitpicks while I was flying around: please see Aerofly FS 2022 Bug Reports

Why does the A320 have unrealistic sharklets on carriers, for example Delta and American.
Unfortunately, every livery has them now.
I really want the old Lufthansa livery to have the winglets back, or at least have a menu where you can select between the two.

Dear Jet-Pack (IPACS)
v20.22.01 A320
- Ajaccio LFKJ ILS02 has been caught around the last 10 Nm (no LOC or G/S before)
- Time skip, after skipping, the MCDUs page is changed to MCDU MENU > FMGC.
Regards.

Rudder control:
Rudder return to center is very slow and dampened. When on the ground, it makes it difficult to apply minor rudder correction resulting in zigzagging when following taxiways.
Can you add a return to center speed option in order to change it to taste?

We're looking into it.

Found a couple more bugs.
These two are related to the Boeing 787-10.
1. The HUD display (alt, speed, etc) still remains after you lift the HUD.
2. Strangely, after departure, the landing gear doors IMMEDIATELY open. Even when I don’t retract the landing gear. They will just remain open until I retract it.

Eh? Doors designed to open like that right after takeoff?

Eh? Doors designed to open like that right after takeoff?
On the 787 I read that the doors are opening right after lift off to allow a quicker retraction time. Not sure if it actually saves any fuel but if on every flight the gear is up 5 seconds earlier then I guess that saves some fuel. I thought this is a nice feature to add but might be confusing or incorrect...

I found a 787 bug in aerofly it looks like when your in exterior view you cant see the inside of the cockpit it now becomes a see through now

There are a lot of reports coming in and it gets hard to track them, so I collected them all in this thread.
We've opened a new dedicated thread for user bug reports over here: Aerofly FS 2022 Collected User Bug Reports where we can track the issues more easily.
If you find new bugs please post them over there.
