Aerofly FS2020 Switzerland Scenery stuck on 0%

  • Hi everyone, i recently downloaded Aerofly 2020 on my Iphone X, and i also bought the Switzerland Scenery. After buying, it began downloading, and what happened was i accidentally excited the app, causing it to stop downloading. When i went back, it said it hadn't been bought, which i fixed by pressing "restore purchases." Then, it downloaded again, but it is now forever stuck on 0% downloading. I have over 15GB or storage available, and I don't think it's a network issue as i can freely access the internet and do other things that requires wifi. I tried deleting the app, but as soon as i re-downloaded, it is still stuck on 0%.

    Does anyone have a solution?

43.5GB/64GB is used, so i would assume a good 20GB of free storage, and i have my phone basically constantly plugged in cos the app itself drains so much battery...

The operating system needs several gigabytes of remaining storage space. I'd guess about 10 GB are kept free automatically and iOS asks you to delete files then. So realistically you only have 10GB remaining and so the operating system doesn't allow you to download more data.

Well, at this point I'm completely out of ideas. I have cleared around 30GB of space ( 34/64gb available ) and the scenery is still stuck on 0%. I really don't want my $2 to just go down the drain like that :(

  • Look up previous loading queries. Here was a recent one

My offering was to really clear your storage memory.

Try clearing your cache by recording a high resolution video until you fill your storage space, that will force the IPad to clear persistent cache storage which will be available when the video is deleted. There is no manual cache clearing procedure. Remember to open the recently deleted photos sub library and re-delete them all finally.

My FS2021 is just under 12 GB, I would temporarily off load stored data until I had 24 GB of free storage for downloading AND re-installing. The more free storage space the less trouble I had.

    Good Luck.

Another idea is to do a hard restart which is more than just turning it off and on again. look it up, it involves holding the home and start button or with newer iPads tap volume up, release. volume down, release and then hold the start button. You need to hold for 20 to 30 seconds until the apple logo re-appears. This will clear any memory storage resident software issues and allow a clean start.
