Game Expectations Post
It may be possible to understand some plans and work directions of developers, but I agree that the map quality of XPM is actually not high.......
I agree with you. But I still find the Aerofly FS 's position in the market odd. Or maybe they are trying to give players a platform with a high frame rate and realistic physics. But I feel that AF as a flight simulator is more like a game than a simulation platform. Because they're not asking other developers to help them improve things that aren't already in the game. Like a more professional and correct airplane model.
The developers themselves probably know that their A320 is not comparable to the professional models of other games. Including their Boeing family of planes. Aerodynamic models of other aircraft, such as the Cessna 172, are not comparable to those made by specialist plug-in manufacturers. But they insisted on making most of the models themselves. Let the player build some obscure planes.
The landscape was created on the computer, but only the landscape was shown to the player, and it took a long time to make. Just about every manufacturer of flight simulators is busy creating more elaborate landscapes for their games. Perhaps soon the only advantage AF will have is a smooth running frame rate.
As an aviation enthusiast, maybe some platforms without exquisite picture quality but with professional plug-in aircraft would be more suitable for my needs, such as FSX and P3D. They really put a lot of effort into optimizing their games. But AF is not too much of an experience for a flight simulator. Whether on mobile or computer, professional players or amateurs.
I often recommend Aerofly to my friends. They may be attracted by the high quality and high frame count. But getting people who are more loyal to the airline experience than the quality of the picture to buy your game is hard! I'm not denying that IPACS have put a lot of effort into games over the years, because your models are really not that special (most of my friends who are willing to try to buy AF4 are attracted by A380).
I don't want IPACS to end up as philanthropists. But does this kind of operation really suit AF?
