Jet-Pack (IPACS) I try to modify the aircraft file of af2022. But when I look for them. I found that your programmer hid the file in the user folder of Android. Mobile phones without root cannot access this folder. For example, my mobile phone cannot modify these files. I want to know why you choose to do this. It seems that there is no effect on the aircraft file when revising the files in data folder.

The aircraft in the mobile version is not intended to be modified because it would cause too many issues and support tickets for us.
What changes are you trying to make to the aircraft?

Modify the parameters of the camera. Because the perspective of the mobile terminal, whether in the cockpit or outside the aircraft, has been criticized by players. You have been adding or modifying perspectives. But the best way must be an open and free perspective.

Jet-Pack (IPACS) Aircraft files in 2022 do not appear to be running in 2021. May I ask what causes this problem?

Aircraft are not compatible between versions.

Then I beg you to open the modification of aircraft documents again in the next generation AF. This is really important on mobile where you don't have a free view.
This is my personal opinion: I don't think the changes in the document will cause trouble for your work. If the player community is informed in advance that some files are not compatible and some files are compatible. Having a certain amount of room for the player to adjust the parameters of his or her game leads to more gameplay, rather than limiting it everywhere.

Of course. The player base on mobile will be much less professional than on PC. Instead, many players are constantly asking questions due to a lack of tutorial and experience. This is the problem I encountered when I first started researching the contents of the document. So it's important to have a tutorial that properly guides the player through file modification. It will take time, of course. But I think the benefits are permanent.

We aim to create a simulator that doesn't require user file modifications to be good. We'd rather take time to implement new cameras than to describe each necessary step to users of which only a handful would use that tutorial to create own cameras.

Jet-Pack (IPACS) Can I move some aircraft parameters from AF4 into AF2021 by copying the parameters? So he's theoretically feasible? Of course, I do this with the risk that the game will crash.

I never tried to change files on a mobile device and you could cause yourself a lot of issues if you modify the files, I don't recommend it. It works on the Desktop versions...

I should have rephrased it. Is whether the contents of TMD files of AF4 and AF2 are compatible. Can I fix some errors and bugs in the old version by copying some new parameters?Even modifying the aerodynamic model
-
No they are not compatible, we've renamed many parameters to make it more consistent than in FS 2. It's 1000+ individual changes or 10+ different "replace all" commands per aircraft as well as inverting all rotation axes. It's not feasible without a descent text-editor which would require a desktop PC.

A reverse modification seems impossible. You renamed AngleMax in HingedBodyGraphics and Pos0 in MovingGraphics to Scaling. Changing the more than 500 Scaling back in TMD will be a huge project. At least I don't think I can.

A little suggestion list:
-freecam (steering with a joystick or something like that)
-more wing views
-all planes that have a 3D modeled cabin should have a in-cabin view like the Learjet 45.

Jet-Pack (IPACS) I noticed that your production team refined the parameters of the pneumatic model. I copied the parameters directly to AF2 and the aerodynamics completely disappeared. At this point I have no idea how to modify the plane file. I fixed the landing gear model problem for the B747 in AF2. But there is still no clue to some problems of speed reduction plate pneumatic.
Oh, my God. All Axis values are reversed. An airplane has thousands of values. I can't find any way to do this except manually.
Jet-Pack (IPACS) I tried to import some parameters of GWPS sound. But when they run, they don't work. Do you know what is necessary for a warning to work?

As I said the two versions are not compatible on may fronts. You can't expect an aircraft made for the latest version to run in the old one, the executable does not have the same features that are required for the new aircraft. I rest my case.

Fine, it seems that I could only try to edit some model parameters and camera parameters. Not much. Thank you very much for your help. I really want to move a new plane into a different version. But at present, it seems that the only way is to redevelop an aircraft.
I feel that AF is reborn in the iteration. But it gave up too many things. It's like what we were trying to do was rejected in the update of the version. If you want to update, you can only make it again. This is a bit of a psychological blow to players. I hope that in the future, more exquisite third-party plug-ins will enter this platform to replace the hard work of players.

Jet-Pack (IPACS) Please tell me what the first two of the three numbers after the [direction] of the view in the aircraft TMD file represent. I've tried to change it. But the adjustment of the first two values has always puzzled me. I tried to find the answer on the wiki, but it was not mentioned. It seems that the first value will also limit the pitch range? :/

The direction value is a vector with x, y and z components. X is forward, Y is left and Z is up direction.
