Gap between STAR and APPROACH

  • Dear Jet-Pack (IPACS)

Between some STARs and some APPROACHs, there is sometimes gaps (see the attachment).

Is there a way to make the flight plan not discontinuous?

Maybe it is normal in real world, but I would love a cheat for that (like the dotted arrow I added).

In the example (attachment), and for each case like this, the first waypoint (PRYES here) of the APPROACH is always ignored when flying.

    Best regards.

  • These segments are "manual" or "ATC vectors". There is no connection in the real airplane either and pilots would expect to receive either vectoring commands or are given a direct to for example. If they don't get that they need to fly a hold usually.

From what I know the route in Aerofly FS 4 just connects the two open ends as a direct to or track segment and keeps sequencing to the next leg.

    Regards,
