I noticed that the computer in the large airliners set the TOGA for the engine at different N1% depending on altitude. Is it possible to override this setting and push the engines to the absolute limit in game?
The 777 has a takeoff bump setting which you can activate in the CDU takeoff performance page, the CRJ and Learjet have an APR mode which gets extra thrust from the engines and the Q400 has a detent beyond the normal rating for additional power and an MTOP button to change from normal takeoff power to max takeoff power.
Most other planes just have the TOGA rating which you can't go beyond.
