Strobe lights

  • Hello Aerofly community,

For Aerofly FS4 i wanted to inquire if there is a config file where i can see how the strobe lights of the aircraft works.

Is there a way that i could increase the intensity of the stobe lights so that it would give a much brighter reflection on the ground?

Is that a general configuration that affects all aircrafts or can it be done individually?

Im only asking this because if you fly in an airplane in real at night, you would see that the flashing lights of the strobe are really bright just like that of a professional camera. In FS4 it looks dull.

FYI: the red beacon lights are perfect, no need to change as they are bright enough.

    Thank you

I checked on the A320 tmd. Its not the brightness parameter but on the scaling.

    I changed <[float64][Scaling][1.0]> TO <[float64][Scaling][10.0]>

Now i got the desired strobe light intensity and it look really good how it flashes and reflect on the ground.

  • Each aircraft has it's own tmd file, which is just a text document. Inside that text document you can also find the light cone for the strobe light which has a brightness parameter. Make sure that if you edit a file inside the Steam directory that you make a backup before the change and after the change.

    Hello Jet-Pack (IPACS)

i confirm that the thread is solved.
    Thank you.
