Try your phone without case to allow more cooling.

Maybe, where you live, it is summer or hot, which doesn’t help.

Aerofly settings: limit frame rate at 30 fps, it is frankly quite enough on phone screens.

I get around 30-40fps on the ground and 60fps in the air, however, with clouds I normally get 20-40fps with lag spikes and in the air I get around 50-60fps with the occasional lag spike, and I never fly with the clouds set to full density (This is on iPhone 12 mini). I recommend using a slow charger while flying and not using clouds.
