Aerofly FS 4 - UH-60 Black Hawk Flight Tutorial

    • Autopilot-Master (Standardtaste ist 'A')
    • Autopilot abschalten
    • Autopilot-Umgehung

  • Little confused as to why we need to turn these things back on to shut down after flight as per the tutorial....?? :/

    • Set the FUEL PUMP switch to APU BOOST
    • Set the APU CONT switch to ON
    • Wait for the APU ON light
    • Set the APU GEN switch ON

You'd lose all of your ac power if you turn your engines off..

    And we don't want that!

So APU is turned on before complete shutdown.

  • Hmm, interesting :/ , but if your shutting down anyway, does it matter if you loose all your AC power...? Won't the battery's have enough juice for the next round...so to speak...? You have to shut the battery switches off after you shut down the engines an park it for the next trip. Maybe I'm not getting it.... :/ I don't have to turn the power back on to shut down the EC-135....different Heli of course....but nonetheless.

    • „Controls“/„Steuerung“ (linke Spalte erste Schaltfläche)

    Tschüss, Michael (🍎🚁)

    Configurations:

    - MacBook Pro (16", 2021); Chip: Apple M1 Max; actual macOS || Thrustmaster TCA AIRBUS EDITION: 1x Sidestick, 2x Quadrant, 2x Quadrant Add-On || Pro-Flight-Trainer PUMA X

    - iPad (12,9", 4th Generation); actual iOS || nimbus steelseries

  • It would be nice to get as original a checklist as possible (so far I haven't found one on the internet) to include such points as switching the various exterior lights on and off.

During shut down you can keep the APU off if you turn off all other things first.

Only the inner right MFD is powered by battery, so you would have to turn off the other three MFDs, then you can shut down both engines, turn off the remaining MFD and then switch off the batteries.

Regarding exterior lights: If you have the assistance for lights set on it will automatically set them for you.

Otherwise it's basically the same as any other aircraft, anti-collision light to day, position lights on, landing and search light as needed...

  • Excellent Thank you Jan! I've been searching the whole internet for an answer. :)  :) It doesn't seem to work on my iPad but I'll try my Android tablet tonight. My iPad most of the time will hard crash the simulator when flying the Blackhawk. Even with no clouds, the highest visibility, and no traffic.
