Are 'Thrustmaster' rudder pedals compatible with the sim and can I use them in VR ?

Here's a link to the set I'm thinking of getting, they seem to be the cheapest on the market but get good reviews. Thanks in advance :)

They work fine for Aerofly in VR...

I did not like the sliding movement, especially with helicopters.
Sold them and bought VKB pedals, they are a bit more money, but for me the best budget pedals.

Thanks for the heads up on that, the VKB pedals are a bit of a price jump so I might still try the Thrustmaster.

What exactly does the sliding movement do, is it for operating the brakes ?

Each pedal has two metal round bars as you can see on the picture, they slide back and forth on those.
With VKB and other pedals you push your feet down (other feet goes up) like a seesaw.

Based on what I've just been reading there is some software for toe brakes that can be added to the VKB pedals, no doubt the other poster can advise you on that more than I.

No physical toe brakes. I only fly helicopters, never got into that software breaking thingy...
