FlightInformationBar changes when the window size is changed

  • @IPACS:

I have noticed that with FS4 on the MacBookPro, the flight information bar changes when I change the size of the window:

    - YELLOW highlighted is the information that changes position

    - BLUE highlighted is the information that can only be seen in the smaller view

    Configurations:

    - MacBook Pro (16", 2024); Chip: Apple M4 Max; actual macOS
    - Controllers: | WinWing: URSA MINOR-Fighter-Joystick R | Thrustmaster TCA AIRBUS EDITION: 1x Joystick, 2x Quadrant, 2x Quadrant Add-On | Pro-Flight-Trainer: PUMA X | Logitech: Joystick G Extreme 3D Pro | Steelseries: Nimbus+

    - iPad (12,9", 4th Generation, RAM: 6 GB); actual iOS | Steelseries: Nimbus+

  • Thank you Jan for your answer, but it does not satisfy me:

Both windows show the same FS4 session, I just reduced the window from full screen size to a quarter screen size using the mouse pointer.

    - I don't find it logical that the 4x as large window can only show less information than the small window - I would understand it the other way round.

    - Regardless, the elements shown in both window sizes can all be shown in the same order and do not need to be swapped.

  • It only depends on the aspect ratio of the screen. On a wider display (relative to height) you can fit more data

I can understand that it depends on the aspect ratio which information is shown. :)

I cannot understand that it depends on the aspect ratio at which positions the individual pieces of information are always shown (see YELLOW double arrows) :( - in my opinion, this can be optimised. :/
