Can the Aerofly FS 2 Flight Simulator support Microsoft's Xbox controller?

It seems that only using the Bluetooth connection handle (Xbox) works.
When I use the USB cable to connect the handle, there is no response in the game.
At the same time, the icon of the handle is not displayed below the operation setting panel (in the setting options).

Is this a known bug in the sim or no? Got this whilst flying above seattle.
