I just bought AFS4 and I noticed that my refresh rate is stuck at 60HZ. In the graphics settings I changed my resolution to native and 240HZ. I tried forcing it via the Nivida panel and nothing happened. I tried restarting computer, Turing off steam overlay, and reinstalling the graphics driver. Not sure what to do and why it’s stuck at 60HZ despite being set to 240HZ.

I have a problem

In nvidia control panel have you set the max frame rate in 3D settings or similar in windows display settings? Have you done similar in the graphics card software? Is vsync or adaptive vsync set somewhere like the nvidea 3D settings? Have you a dedicated FS4 page in 3D settings?
Sorry if this is obvious.

I’ve done all the above but I think it’s a bug in game. AFS2 has no problem with this.

While I normally fly in VR I noticed the same thing a few days ago when I tried FS4 in 2D mode. It knocked my 1080p monitor back from 120Hz to 60Hz and also seemed to 1/2 my screen res. I needed to go back to my win10 display settings and change all this back. So, probably a bug.

Have you tried to edit the main.mcf file?
