I have a MacBookPro 2021 with Apple M1 chip and FS4 via STEAM works great so far. So I don't really have any concerns that it won't work for you - but I can't guarantee it. Whether you can return the software with STEAM if it doesn't work, I don't know.

Steam will refund software within 14 days after purchase as long as you have tried it for less then two hours. -
Works OK on M1 Pro 14-core GPU 16 GB - stutter around New York.

Steam will not count time if you start Aerofly FS 4 from your dock instead of lauching it from Steam. By the way, this way, it starts within 1 second.
Today, launching from the Dock, I just have 80 minutes of gaming Aerofly in Steam, I mean hello, believe me, it is more than that.

Could you tell me if Aerofly FS4 can be controlled with a PS4 Wireless Controller connected via Bluetooth to the same MacBook?
