ok my first post, i want to run AF rc (any recent version) but use my DX18 and the spectrum WS2000 wireless dongle. Has anyone had any luck with that? if not what is the easiest way to connect the DX18

I have used aerofly rc 8 on a mac using a DX9 and NX10 and a WS2000 wireless dongle and it has worked perfectly. I setup my work station with the WS2000 always plugged into a USB slot so that when my laptop is plugged it, the WS2000 is ready to go. I just turn on my transmitter, then start Aerofly RC and it works. Now I have a NX10 and I use the cable instead - although the WS2000 works with that too.

Great to hear! With a little fiddling, you'll be able to get flaps going from your transmitter because the WS2000 supports 8 channels. I setup a 3 way switch also to do: nothing, brakes, smoke.
