You can move the view around freely inside the cockpit. The commands to do so move the camera a bit too slow though...

Does the Tobii Eye Tracker 5 eye/head watcher work in FS4, it isn't listed on their site? It should allow free pilot viewpoint movement.

There is a thing on Steam called View Tracker that works for me on my laptop. Cheap option and not as good as TrackIR but good enough to use on the road. I think (from what I have read) that the Tobil offering would not be as good as TrackIR either.

A good free alternative is Opentrack used in conjunction AITRack. I have used it and it works well.
