This has been mentioned before but I'm noticing this issue every single time I play aerofly and for planes that are taildraggers the brake slider issue is really making them unplayable because they tip over if you apply 100% braking power to be able to use the slider... Is this issue fixed in the next title Jet-Pack (IPACS) ?

    Best wishes

    100% braking!

That is exactly what would happen in real life. Tail draggers are almost as hard as helicopters, you need to study how to land them, you need to study how to take off with them! Try some YouTube or even better do a lot of reading.

For child like simplicity try Sky Gamblers Storm Raiders or the two letter alternative.

(Later … I see that you needed high brakes for the (pre 29th update android) slider bug, sorry for preaching.)

Alright, I think you didn't quite get what I meant here, I'm not complaining about the difficulty of any aircraft. I'm talking about this bug that has been apparent since the release of afs2023, where you can't apply anything under 100% braking power or the slider will go back to 0%.
    Best wishes :)

    100% braking!

This is due to the already known brake slider bug. If you don't move the slider above 50% first, it will automatically go back to 0. They are already working on it.

    I’m on iOS.

We've found the issue and corrected it for the next version.

It was a bit strange, because if you go past the 50% margin once the slider or virtual stick work perfectly until you release. It would only occur if you start moving, stop and never reach the 50% range.

    Regards,

    Jan

I completely understand fixing the bugs for the next version, but I think you can also fix it for those who are going to stay with the AFS2023 version. Unlike the other bugs, this one is critical because it spoils the game experience, and knowing that it's been there since the AFS2022 version, I'm a bit puzzled about leaving big bugs on previous version of the simulator :(.

(So it will not be fixed for FS2023 Jan? Is FS2023 support expired)

Disregard, I just downloaded the 29th November android update!

    Thanks Ze and thanks IPACs.

    It was fixed today actually.

Great, today’s update android phone FS2023 now seems equally as controllable as the iPad version became a couple of weeks ago. I just got this Android 29th Nov’ update, the most recent iPadOS update was from ‘2 weeks ago’ according to the App Store.

It is bound to be troublesome having two updates out of sync device types in the same mobile sub-forum when we users do not make it obvious what mobile system type we are writing about.

In yesterday's Android update, the 50% moving brake/rudder slider bug was probably fixed. On the other hand, I can only use the ios version by first moving the rudder/collective above 50% and then not letting it go.

Will there be an update to ios Af2033? (That would be fair.)
Will we have to wait for weeks like the previous one?
Is there an external reason for this delay? (App Store for example)

    I’m on iOS.

The release of the next version is the major factor for rolling out bug fixes at a reduced pace. That and each update need to undergo an approval process which can take a bit.

    Each update

So it will be a perpetual process and the app will be around for more than a year?
