I'm curious to hear how your battery consumption is doing in FS Global compared to FS 2023.
Obviously FS Global consumes more, but personally it feels a bit too much. Doing a 90 minute flight in FS Global drained about 80% of my battery while in FS 2023 it drained about 40-50%.
In FS Global staying on the ground for about 15 minutes doing pushback, engine startup, and taxi drained about 20% of my battery.

How's your battery consumption with FS Global?

Using an iPadI flew for about 35 minutes and used 25% of the battery. Note that the CPU and GPU frequencies will vary significantly at different camera angles, so power consumption will definitely vary. No way, if you want higher graphics quality, you must sacrifice some power consumption

I went to start the game on my Samsung Android phone in my doctors surgery yesterday and a warning about the need to make sure I was on a wireless network came up. It really does chew through the data allocation of your plan as well as the battery apparently. On my Lenovo tablet at home it is not too bad with the battery consumption.

This is the power consumption curve I recorded. It can be seen that when the aircraft just takes off, the maximum power consumption of the entire aircraft can reach 6.6W. Then when reaching the cruising altitude, the average power consumption is about 4w when switching to the cockpit perspective. If you switch to the engine perspective, the power consumption will be reduced to about 3W.

The important question is: Did you leave the frame rate as limited or did you set it unlimited? If you set it to unlimited the battery can drain much faster and the device gets hot quickly because it has to compute more frames.

Yes, when I limit the frame rate to 30fps, the power consumption can be reduced to 2.5w, and the average power consumption at 60fps can reach more than 4w, which is very scary, so can more frame rate options be introduced, like 35/45/55, which can achieve a good balance between smoothness and battery consumption

Can someone show screenshots on an Apple device with an M1 chip?

Lenn_06 and Scobby_Saurus both do

Thanks, I limited the frame rate. Only drained 20% for a 40 minute flight, so that's great.

I have an M1, you've seen some of my pictures before
My shadows can also be pretty pixelated but other than that it runs well and looks good

Thanks, I limited the frame rate. Only drained 20% for a 40 minute flight, so that's great.
限制帧率 会导致地图的加载少吗?我用m2芯片 飞大型机场的时候 会出现掉帧情况 但不会少于30帧率
