A few tips that may be of help to the modelling crew regarding that odd looking shading on the Cargo Bay Door. I'm not sure what program you're using... Blender, AC3D or MAX or something else. If MAX try using smoothing groups, and make the outside faces of the door a separate group and see if that fixes it. Never used Blender so dont know if that has smoothing groups. I use AC3D and that doesn't have that luxury... It has very unsophisticated smoothing options, but I've found a way to get round it... make the edges of the door bevel slightly inwards. Works on all the gear doors/doors on my aircraft. Hopefully It helps and I'm not teaching Grandma to suck eggs.

Hopefully this gear door on one of my models will illustrate what I mean. I wouldn't think you'll need bevelled edges as steep as this on your model... just see what works for you.

Thank you! I found the setting in Blender, I'll test it.

That's Great Eliozo. I hope you can master it. If you have smoothing groups that will give you a great deal more control. It has a lot of uses. You can for example, use it to get rid of any odd shading issues you get, on things Like Rudders and Ailerons... where your transitioning from a flat surface to a curved or bevelled leading edge.
