long ago i made voice input for MS Flight Simulator X in VB6 with a MS SDK.

i think Aerofly FS4 would have practical usefulness if we get voice input (english and german) build in.

You can code it yourself as you have done it before as you stated I don't think anyone has a need for this

    Well done with that. :)

A couple of years ago I tried my hand at flying online with others in the Cliffs of Dover expansion Desert Wings. I really wanted to learn to fly that Wellington so much. However I found my internet connection was not up to the task with a dozen or more crashes to desktop every half hour or so and my eyesight not good enough to find all those tricky knobs and levers that are part of the cockpit. Although voice control would not have overcome the internet situation it certainly would have made flying the plane a heck of a lot easier for me.

my intention was that fs 4 have it build in …
with little bit more effort it could go to ms store. I will test if it works with x plane 12 and ms flight sim too.

    preview shop link removed.

its better to have a single app for each simulator.

Hi, as a developer for FS4 I find this very interesting and well done :thumbup:

I take it in FS4 you are limited by the severe lack of available controls in the menu system, which I also find extremely limiting as I am building a 4 engined turbo prop and there isn't even a menu for that at the moment, maybe IPACS will see this and implement both. User assignable controls in the menu system would help a great deal, it wouldn't take much work to modify an existing aircraft and control tmd files for your own inputs.

I'' be interested to see how many FS4 users are prepared to part with some hard earned cash as I have always done my work for free.

    Steve

PS, Voice Attack is already used for DCS, not sure about other sims

    thanks.

full automation is often missing in apps or games.

instead of sending keys i would like to see a tcp interface where i could just send text commands like cmd flaps down or a key word constant, that would be good for tablet/touch PC or phones too.

currently ms flightsim does not work with sendkeys, it seems it just read the state of keyboard and not using the event system. thats a bit annoying because i thought it behave same.

i have to find a workaround or split the product in parts for a single simulator.

voice attack looks complete, somehow far too much configuration options.

years ago i used logitech Flight Multi Panel hardware. (it was good when it works well)

We have a sample project to send messages to Aerofly FS 2, not sure if it still works for Aerofly FS 4....

It works by including a DLL file so you can then send arbitrary messages to Aerofly FS.

The old Aerofly FS 2 SDK has been moved to my personal website:

    External DLL: https://www.aerofly-sim.de/aerofly_fs_2_sdk

    Regards,
