• This is just a quick idea of someone that doesn't know anything about coding or game design... Could the 747F be added by just creating liveries that cover the windows? I'd love to see that since there are way more Cargo Airlines operating the 744 than Passenger Airlines...

    Kind regards :)

  • Hello

    Merry christmas all !

That question is interesting I think AF is The best game on mobile from my point of view. But I have a question in my mind. I think that could be easier to make some aircrafts from a base model :

They made the 737-900ER. The 700, 800 have the same cockpit, The body needs to be adapted, the flight model as well and liveries need be created.

For the A319/320/321 is the same deal with the Neo. The structure is the same, engines are différent and flight model for sure.

For the 747-400, I guess freighter version would be more easier to make…. The base model is already created

Then AF would had more aircraft available in the portfolio.

Create a New model is a huge work (and thank you for that) but some aircrafts should have been already in the game….

But maybe I’m wrong…. Anyway AF is above the others despite the lack of available models vs IF for example.

    Have fun

  • It would also mean we would probably get more aircraft and more features faster.

  • They could also do something like msfs if you add livery to 747 and it’s a cargo livery it’s a cargo plane but it can also be a passenger plane if you use passenger livery.

But then it’s an issue of quality of the product. Msfs mainly focused on GA so you could explore the world, it was never meant for realistic sim experiences until 2024 came out. Aerofly (IPACS) focus on making aircraft of good quality so if we want another freighter, they would have to design new interiors and systems.

  • Now I know this is a stupid Question but how hard is it to take off windows and change livery, because you could easily make a 747F. Merry Christmas

True, but it would just be the same honestly horrible current 747 model. If they were to add the 747-400F, they would also probably remodel it because we really do need a new model for the 747.

  • Hey,

Personally I love flying Cargo-Planes like the 777-Cargo we already have. What are your plans for maybe other cargo-planes aswell? I mean like a 747-Cargo wouldn't need nothing more than a new skin or some very minor changes, so it would make sense to throw it in within the coming years?

Of course I know your busy and the games is super fun as it is and there are so many update ideas here... I understand.

Anyways keep all the great work doing and take your time as you like to...

  • Hello IPACS team,

I’d like to suggest adding the Boeing 747-400F to Aerofly FS. This aircraft would be a fantastic and much-needed addition!

While the current 747-400 passenger version is fairly realistic, it feels outdated and lacks detail. One example is the absence of APU sounds, which are also missing on the 747, 777 and 787. In general, the model feels a bit raw.

Also, many users don’t like the long upper deck (hump) of the 747-400 it doesn’t have the same classic, retro look that the shorter hump (like on the 747-200 or 747-400F) gives. That short upper deck makes the aircraft look cleaner and more elegant.

Why the 747-400F is a great idea:

Shorter upper deck – retro and visually appealing.

Opening nose and cargo doors – iconic features of the 747 freighter, and would add great functionality and immersion.

Cargo flying vibe – flying freighters has a special atmosphere that many of us enjoy.

Still actively used – by airlines like Atlas Air, Cargolux, Kalitta Air, Silk Way, and others.

Many liveries and operators – much more variety than the passenger version.

    Aerofly FS lacks cargo planes

currently only the 777F is available. A 747F would add much-needed diversity.

Please consider adding the 747-400F to the simulator. It would bring a legendary aircraft into Aerofly FS with much more realism, cargo immersion, and livery variety.

Thanks for your work and for listening to the community!
