Cessna and GPS

    can the Cessna auto pilot fly by gps around a given route in FS4?

    The autopilot in the Cessna does not support this, as there is no GPS device in the cockpit itself.

    You can fly a route using the copilot in any aircraft though. For this you need to enable the overlay in the settings, then you can access the copilot menu and can press the route button to fly the route.

    i found an info

    "The GPS / NAV switch has use when like a KLN 89/94 GPS is installed (was an option with the 1990s Skyhawks)"

    or by device Garmin 530
