Thank you for the great Aerofly FS4 VR experience

  • Hi, I started with flight sims this year, first with MSFS and X-Plane, and someone recommend me Aerofly FS4 in one of their forums.

I just wanted to express how happy I am with the VR experience in FS4, super smooth and well implemented. This is how I expect a VR experience should be in 2024.

Thank you very much for the team that develops this great flight simulator and please, keep your great work that is giving great moments to a lot of us!!!

    Best regards,

    Juan

  • Hi! My CPU was damaged (apparently for the Intel 13-14gen issue) and my pc is in repair. So I bought Aerofly FS Global for my iPad Pro. Wow, very impressed that it is very similar with FS4 and I can keep flying on it. I am displaying it in my TV and use an Xbox controller and the iPad screen for control. Thanks a lot again for the great sims!

What card do you have? I’ve had poor experiences with low altitude flying and landings with rtx 3080, with micro stutters and pausing. I use small planes as well so thats even more concerning. This is something I have not experienced with FS2. Aerofly has always been my go to sim for smooth VR experience but FS4 has put the sim on par with the others in terms of poor stability. I”m hoping that changes with future updates.

  • Hi, these are (well, were) my specs and by far in VR (comparing with XP12 and MSFS), FS4 is the smoothest, non-stutters and less PC resources consuming, so it is the most ecological too :)

    Intel i7 14700KF - RTX 4070 12GB - Gigabyte Z790 - 32GB DDR5 - SSD 1TB M.2 + SSD 2TB M.2 - Windows 11 - Meta Quest 3

Thanks, sorry I did not see your specs in your signature. I’m going to eventually upgrade to 4090 but I still have a lot of card left for most of the games I enjoy in VR. I will likely upgrade specifically for flight sims, but right now I spend most of my time playing Golf Plus. 😁
