Thank you but unfortunately there are people talking in the background, paper rustling. We can't take a snippet from that sound. Like I said, it's very difficult to find good audio that has no background noises, no people talking, no other aircraft sounds like a nearby turboprop, no cabin announcement or music playing, nothing. I can try and make a synthetic sound for the flaps but I can't use a sample with background noises, otherwise these background noises will appear each time you move the flaps. And we don't want random noises to be played whilst the flaps are moving.

I'll try to get a better one in 2 weeks I also have some engine sound from the take off

It is best to separate cabin announcements, background music, and noise separately (put them in settings for players to set by themselves. It may have slide bars like setting weather to separately set related parameters such as sound size, intensity, type, etc.) so that they can function on most passenger aircraft.

Perhaps the background noise can be eliminated by consulting professionals in the audio arranger industry. I learned earlier that there is an acoustic phenomenon called phase cancellation. Maybe it can help your work.

Doesn't it make more realism for the inside views? We would get a proper inflight passenger experience.
Well technically you're not allowed to just record people's conversations and use that for a product unless they have given you permission. You can't just go on an airliner and record random people or use a snippet from any video you just happen to have or online video.

It's highly unrealistic to hear the same 5 second audio clip on repeat.

No, the audio quality becomes too bad. It's much easier to just find a good sound snippet or make it artificially.

I can try to see if I can get a rec but there would be maintenance sounds like drills etc in the background sound

Yeah in that case dont. Unless you can isolate the actual flap sounds from other external sounds its not worth it

Maybe you can learn from SCS company to record audio samples on the spot when you grow up. (Just kidding)

It’s ok with some screws I can mute the others but you will hear the police next
There is no limit if you are particular about it, but this clonk! I'd like to hear that mechanical sound on AFG. 👂 The sound can be heard at the beginning and end of the video.
There was a JAP yapin' in the. Background
dude i aint so sure about how you phrased that. that name is what the americans gave the japanese soldiers in ww2. im not japanese in any way but i feel its a fairly derogatory term and i dont think its very appropriate in this forum. just throwing it out there. maybe edit this before it gets taken down. polite notice.

And that's the danger of typing something online that has a meaning you didn't know about.
I understand that you just wanted to joke around (if that was your intention), but sometimes you gotta be careful. If you talk about a race by saying a word that isn't the actual term for that race, it's very likely that you will say something offensive with a different meaning, and a lot of times people will dislike you for it.
This doesn't just go with race, but it goes with anything. If there's anything you want to say, but you notice that others do not frequently say a term and you don't know for sure if it could potentially be offensive, try your best to do some searching about the term before you actually say it.
