Will there be BTV in the new A350?

Brake to vacate. It is a unique function of Airbus a350/a380. At present, the 380 in the game has not yet realized this function, and I still hope it can be added in the future.

I know this might sound stupid but what is its main purpose? Is it like auto brake?

You can select a taxiway that needs to be left on the airport map on the screen, and btv will automatically adjust the force of autobrake until to that taxiway you want to left
Do I understand correctly that it is about leaving the runway at a certain taxi way exit? Then the airports also have to adapt? Or am I misunderstanding this?
Correct. But airports don’t need to adapt in order for it to work.
It’s based on gps data.
Yes, BTV is a function of the auto brake which means "brake to vacate" or in other words before landing you tell the aircraft where you want to exit (vacate) the runway and after touchdown the auto brake activates and slows the aircraft down so that can vacate as planned.
Right now this isn't yet implemented but it's a very cool feature and very high on my personal wishlist for the aircraft. The tricky bit is selecting the runway exit because as of right now this data is not available on the CPU side, it's purely visual without any data logic. Taxiway names are missing for example which is one of the thing we would need. But perhaps we can add a simplified version where you don't select a taxiway but where you can still select a location on the runway and guess the exit position.
One possibility would be to add the data to the runway data in the TAP file.
- currently has the TAP file for a runway these data:
<[list_tm_airport_pd_rwy_pair][runway_pairs][]
<[tm_airport_pd_rwy_pair][element][0]
<[array_tm_airport_pd_rwy][runway_pair][]

- here could be added a block for the beginning of the taxi lines to each direction:
<[list_tm_airport_pd_exit_twy][exit_twy][]
<[tm_airport_pd_exit_twy][element][0]
<[vector2_float64][position][123.456789 12.345678]>
<[string8][name][A]>

The following data will then be required:
- "position" = the coordinates for the beginning of the respective taxiway line
- "name" = name of the taxiway

Yesss i want to see some avionics!

Aaahh ok thank you

After the A350 releases we will have a chance to those 5 aircraft! Now please be patient!
Maybe 737-800, max 8, 787-8,9 or why not 747-8? My fav Boeing 747.
And yes, it does have similar cockpit as the 747-400. I don’t think e2 or A220 will be coming in the next update. They need to make it from scratch.
One possibility for Airbus would be - NEO.

I mean, we could use some new engine options such as the A330NEO A330CEO A321NEO A320NEO A319NEO
Is there any update on a350?Its been a long time since we got a teaser…@ipacs,I think this should be released now!!
