If A350, like 787, also has a passenger cabin, it represents a new level of manufacturing and process requirements for this flagship aircraft
A reasonable reason is that even with a passenger cabin, the 787 still has excellent frame rate performance, I hope A350 won't refuse

I hope the devs don’t wait years before releasing the -900 though. It currently has around 50 operators when compared to the -1000’s 9.
I would really like to believe it, but looking at the Dreamliner versions 8 and 9, which we have been waiting for almost 3 years, I think that the same will happen with the 350. This is very sad, since IPACS always adds the largest version of the aircraft first, which in most cases has the least number of operators. I will not talk about the Dreamliner, but the same situation is with the 737. Instead of releasing the 800 version of which 2135 aircraft were produced, they first released the 900 version, which in total is 140. And now a year has passed and we still have not received a smaller version. I do not criticize IPACS in any way, a lot of work has already been done, but anyway this is simply killing 😭

They are not versions they are the same plane on different body length but lazy boeing is too lazy to change the wing size

Is the a350 going to have in the cockpit those black screens for the sun. Like the Learjet 45. I thing the 380 has it but they are not functional.

It's usually 6-8 days after a blog post, so I'm assuming maybe 2-3 weeks now. We're on the home stretch! The -900 will presumably come in 5 years.

I actually think the -900 isn't going to take so long, on early modeling stages, they showed a -900 picture too, and it is almost just make the plane shorter, and delete one gear (isnt that easy but).

They showed an outline teaser, but they've stated that a rate-limiting factor is the creation of liveries. Let's hope a "shadow project" is in the works…

That's what I'm hoping for, but I doubt it'll happen. It's never been done before, so let's see if they break the trend.
I'm not sure if they would've disclosed a -900 by now though.

I hope they are just "hiding" the 900 version of us, maybe a surprise? Dont know, i just want my 737-800, or maybe a a330
