Hi,
I started using Aerofly RC 10 a few days ago, and I've been surprised with the way several of the aircraft with the default setup will glide on for ages after the throttle has been reduced to zero. Particularly with the Miss Wind plane, I can turn the motor off, glide all the way down the strip and turn to come back down the runway, and the plane still behaves like it has approximately 30% throttle on when I finally try to touch down on the runway. The plane is still moving so fast that even then I have trouble landing. The PT-40 is also quite unrealistic in this regard, but since it has an IC engine, I can practically fix the problem by reducing the engine idle to 0.5.
The Pitts Python, SU-29, and Adrenaline 120 don't have this problem at all. They just slow down like I would expect them to.
I've tried changing a few of the airfoil settings with limited success, as each of these affects the model in other ways as well.
Is there some kind of overall simulator setting or individual model parameters that I can change to fix this?
Kind regards,
Jonathan
