‘We’, are there two of you?
You can look at the Navigation page and see your position without losing any of the set-up providing you make no changes and go straight back into the flying again.
Do you tune in the navigation aids and follow their indications? It is quite authentic to have a site like ‘SkyVector.com’ open on another tablet or phone and compare its map with your Aerofly progress. You could have a desired route plotted on the SkyVector aviation map and it could show you the nearby ground navigation aid frequencies for you to dial into the Aerofly cockpit. Comparing that map is not unlike viewing a folded chart on your lap in a real flight.

The VFR (visual flight rules) option for the SkyVector.com chart might be even more helpful, see the big airport layout. The roads, railways, rivers and towns can be followed in Aerofly. The lakes are fine too here, in real life they can vary in size depending on season and weather. (Click/Tap for bigger).

Maps of Switzerland - Swiss Confederation - map.geo.admin.ch
Gives a variety of Swiss aviation charts in very good detail. Here is a small example.
On-line searches will often bring up detailed airport guides with excellent colour charts, following the guides in Aerofly is good fun.
