The Glider Rally Cup race was recently held in Békéscsaba.

According to the competition notice, a short distance of 134 km had to be flown, I think the average speed was what counted.
The points of the route: LHBC, Csanádapáca, Doboz, Kaszaper, LHBC.
Since the villages can be recognized even at the resolution of the Aerofly, the road could easily be flown in VFR.
I started with winch and climbed to 2700 meters above the airport. Next, I had to do thermals above Kaszaper and then on the way home at Újkígyós.

My average speed was 103 km/h. I don't know what value this is, but I don't think it would have been good for a podium finish in reality.

Just a comment. It is very relaxing to flight gliders with AFS, I am enjoying this a lot in my iPad.

And you can practice landing calculations without the engine. For example try to fly a traffic pattern from winch.
