When I set a waypoint using the next [wpt field] (ex dme04), it is totally random, I don't see a way to decide which one to select.
How do you add a waypoint in the f-plan on a A320

Can we have more context or something for that question ?

Well, most of the time I don't use a flight plan or I create one on the ipad aerofly app, but flying on the mac/pc.
But sometimes I wish I could just add a few waypoints while flying.
I can do it in Navigation but that reveals also my exact position which kills the fun.
The "A320 MCDU Programming" tutorial doesn't tell you how to add single waypoints.
When I try I get some weird results using Waypoint names.
Using long/lat would be ok, but I have no idea how to enter the value or if it is implemented at all.

Yeah, that's because this option is not available yet😂.

You can add a waypoint by it's name, the problem is just that many share the same name and the app chooses it randomly(?), the closest would be a better choice.

Add a waypoint by it's name ? In the aircraft while you're in the air ?

Yes, it kind of works, either it's a bit buggy or I didn't get it.
Select a waypoint(in F-PLN), then type a waypoint name, and click on NEXT WPT.
After that you may get a format error but the point is still added or it looks ok but the F-Pln hasn't changed, but on the Navigation editor the point is set ... ???

All these waypoints were added in the plane at 10000 feet high:
For some reason, some wp didn't show a first, but suddenly, probably by switching to the Navigation Editor all points were shown(second picture)
The other problem is that the 'lines' won't always show up in the display (third pic), or not all points, but that's probably due to my lack of knowledge.

Oh, I'm sorry then, I guess I lack of knowledge about that too😂
