Szenerien aus RC7 auch in RC10 ?

    Hallo zusammen,

    in unserem Verein gibt es eine selbstgemachte Szenerie von unserem Platz, die in Version RC7 läuft.

    Wenn man nun updatet auf Version 10, kann man diese selbstgebaute Szenerie problemlos einsetzen oder hat der Hersteller irgendwelche großen Veränderungen an der Grafiksoftware vorgenommen?

    you must send to Ikarus support all the sources of the scene (image, mqo..) so that they can convert it for you

    I have no idea, I have been asking here for SDK & documentation for creating RC10 environments since April and I have ben promised various things that yet have to happen. Since the model workshop apparently was also based on work by the community (namely Jan-Hendrik Hanuschik from https://www.aerofly-sim.de/ and Arthur Schönknecht) , I think we are fully dependent on their voluntary work which the developer apparently is not doing by himself. Feels like community support and especially communication could be improved a lot, until then I guess we just have to keep asking. I'm thankful that at least the people mentioned above seem to be in direct touch with Ikarus and actively doing work for the community. I wish communication from the developers around those topics would just be a bit more lively here in the forums.

    I also wrote to the company and they told me to send in the RC7 scenario. They will convert it to RC8. And then - they are working on the topic - I may use an automatic converter RC8 --> RC10. But they are still working on that tool.

    I will try it. And report the results here.

    Hello, we would like to get some information from IKARUS support about the user sceneries in aeroflyRC10

    For users who have created a user scenery with the RC7, we can convert this scene to the RC8/RC9.
    In this case, please contact IKARUS support directly at support@ikarus.net.

    An SDK for creating user sceneries for the RC10 is currently in preparation.
    Similar to the workshop for your own RC10 models, which was recently published on the IKARUS Web.
    However, it will not be possible to directly convert a finished RC8 scenery to the RC10.
    For the RC10 scenery SDK, the source data such as the original panorama photo will be required.

    Für User, die noch mit dem RC7 eine UserSzenerie erstellt haben, können wir diese Szene auf den RC8/RC9 konvertieren.
    In dem Fall bitte über support@ikarus.net direkt mit dem IKARUS-Support Kontakt aufnehmen.

    Ein SDK für das Erstellen von User Szenereien für den RC10 ist aktuell in Vorbereitung.
    Ähnlich wie der Workshop für eigene RC10-Modelle, der kürzlich im IKARUS Web erschienen ist.
    Einen direkten Converter einer fertigen RC8 Szenerie auf den RC10 wird es aber nicht geben können.
    Für das RC10 Szenerie SDK werden die Quelldaten wie z.B. das originale Panoramafoto benötigt werden.
