Yes, you need to rename the files to be the same as the folder name. The converter should at least write your texture files (TTX) and convert the model file (TMB) in your output directory. It might crash when rendering the preview, that is ok for now. The airplane should then be visible in the aircraft menu but Aerofly FS will either load the C172 instead or show a red stop sign when you attempt to load the plane.

But if you already see the aircraft in the sim, next to the dr400, even if the preview is not there, that's the first step.

You should then open the TMC file in your intermediate folder and edit the name of the plane and the description texts and parameters. After saving the file run the converter again which copies the file into the output folder automatically. Later on you can also edit the TMD and TMC files in the output folder and after you are finished with them you can copy them back into the intermediate folder.

It's still not working. What's causing it to stick?

The converter should write a tm.log file into the folder that you are converting. It should contain error messages that explain the reason why it stopped.

That's the simulator log file, no, you need to take a look at the log file that was generated in the intermediate folder of your aircraft... Or at least it should be in that folder.

Oh no, sorry, I didn't find it in the middle folder, but I can describe my situation first

I first created the b767 folder in the aircraft folder, in this folder there are b767 cockpit material (png), b767 GPWS audio (wav), converted aircraft modeling (tgi) and a TIF format image converted for correct display in the game. What can I do when I try to convert them and the progress bar gets stuck?
