Auto thrust on Airbus

    When taking off on an airbus using a controller, when moving the thrust back to climb after setting TOGA or FLEX, the auto-thrust disengages and I have to click on the auto thrust button again. The Auto-thrust on the airbus shouldn’t disengage when moving the thrust back to climb. I have tried it without a controller and it seems to work fine, but when using a controller, it just disengages.

    Yes, it works identical for all aircraft for now, this is intentional. If you manually move the thrust levers you get manual thrust, even if the auto-thrust or auto-throttle in a Boeing was previously engaged. Otherwise the auto-throttle in a Boeing would immediately start again after you release your manual inputs, that's what needs to be avoided. A lot players fly from the external view and it would be very confusing if the thrust suddenly decreases after takeoff automatically, if you just changed it to manual thrust. This is different on the virtual slider on the screen where you get active feedback from the slider position and color.
