Went thru my old IOS apps found Aerofly from 2015

  • How is the performance compared to Aerofly Fs Global?

Aerofly FS 2 not terrible not great, for a game of its time I’m sure it was amazing. Definitely have come along way that’s for sure! The only difference from 23 to global is you get all the airports if you subscribe and don’t have to buy them all separately and more planes. FS global is big step forward! I’ll add some screenshots of the game for reference if folks would like :)

  • I’ve got ’Aerofly 1’ on my android phone and an old tablet. It works well and was a significant improvement on the original iOS issue ‘aerofly FS’ which like PC FS lacked the flight planning feature. I kept FS2 on android, alternate years of that proliferation era are shared between my android and iPad OS.

My iPad pro still has the older original aerofly FS, funny to see the same name in use with the current version.

On PC I’ve kept the very first Aerofly FS for the crisp niceness of the Swiss scenery. It is so easy on my PC’s graphics card that it doesn’t even trigger the cooling fans.

  • I played the first version of Aerofly every time at the Airport when I was 6 or 7 years old. I had my own airline: Cessna Airlines.

Idk but I loved flying between Zurich and Birrfeld, with a Cessna obviously. Aerofly gives me so beautiful memories<3.

Since then I played every mobile version:love::love::love:

  • The aerofly FS ios was a real gem. I am posting a video as a paid agent of Robin Factory. This shows how good the all-round view was from the DR 400.

  • Re playing them, it really was. Good to play it again and see the change in graphics from a game I loved to play 9 years ago to modern day. Makes you appreciate all the works these folks put in to have fully functional cockpits and such especially in a mobile version

Just the plane for a tight turn at low level. I would have liked to do stalls in one the of the French planes with strongly washed out wing tips, the Jodels have them too. I had a useful dread of spinning in at low level and valued docile wallowing in a stall over a snappy wing drop. The Cherokees were more bus-like than the Cessnas but I loved their kindness to silly flyers. A Socata Rallye would be nice in Aerofly, full span linked automatic leading edge slats, I loved them.

My first time using iOS FS I just thought ‘this handles right’. Aerofly doesn’t always work perfectly on first issue but iOS FS made a powerful impression on me, much stronger than with the hyped blade theory hot air of X plane 9 in PC.
(I’m thinking of getting X p 12 in P.C. I need the technical side that is simply not in favour at Tübingen).

  • In this old game only two out of 19 aircraft were airliners. Since then, unfortunately, they also realized in Tübingen that the "game" can be sold better with airliners. :(

We added what our customers asked for. And they purchase airliners 10x more often than small aircraft... and we somehow have to pay for our excessive coffee consumption 8o

You are right. That's why it was a great feat that you still released the winching and towing of the gliders. Maybe one day you'll even release Robin on mobile, if you collect a little more coffee money. :)
