Hello, does anyone feel like the gear on the F18 in game are too small compared to real photos of the F18 Legacy Hornet? The main gear especially looks too small. Am I going crazy?:D

Here are some pictures. Can I get some input? The main and nose gears look to small. Jet-Pack (IPACS)

That should be at the back of a long queue of more significant faults.

Lol. Never said this was an immediate issue 😉

The gear of the F/A-18c is correct in size.

Depending on the zoom and the distance to the object, the screenshots can look very different. If you zoom out but get closer to the object, the object will look stretched. The parts closest to you will look too big and the parts further away will look too small. For example ...

Closer to the plain, but zoom out.

    Far away, but zoomed in:

Looks completely different. This could be the reason why the gear sometimes looks "too small".

Second picture still looks small to me. Take a look at this.

The picture you posted was taken by an plane spotter. They typically use focal lengths of 600-1200mm and maybe more to get really close to the aircraft. At this focal length the compression of the object is significant. We do not have the same zoom factor (focal length) as the plane spotter in Aerofy. So it is really hard to create an absolutely identical screenshot like a photo.

To me it looks normal with Aerofly, comparing a screenshot with a real photo is problematic.
