• You're right... after two flights the 777-F no longer attracts my attention... unfortunately an ugly engine sound takes away a lot of realism, I love Aerofly, but I don't understand why they can't get real engine sounds... With a real sound from the GE90 this plane would fly for hours

Because you would need so many different Angels no people talking no clicking everything just has to be pure engine sound its harder than you think

  • It seems like a lazy rehash to me as well. Over all quite similar to the 773 and really disappointing.

Here’s my thoughts, i havent flown the 77F yet but i have started it up and am just gonna weigh in on a few changes made in the update:

    - how to open the cargo bay doors first, i guess it’s on a main system inside the flight deck?

    - i really like the fact it has an APU sound, the 300ER feels really empty without one and i’m hoping it gets the same treatment.

    - the other thing i like is the startup sound on the 77F. The W has a way more whiney sound (understandable since it was added in 2020) whereas the freighter has a far more accurate low rumble as the engines begin to spin up

    - I’m not gonna weigh in on the airports, but from what i’ve seen the changes have been made out as lacklustre and not to expectations. I will be checking out the retouched airports and hopefully coming back to this thread if i can form enough of an opinion.

    - the other thing i don’t like about this update is why on earth the camera view buttons are now spaced out miles apart from each other. As a user with a fairly wide display it feels really awkward to reach across the screen to change camera views. Of course i can use my left-side fingers to access the left side cameras but it doesn’t feel natural. I didn’t even mind when the camera views were in one big list, but then they got moved so that each view button is in roughly the same place it represents onboard. That’s all fine but i preferred the buttons being way tighter in not spaced miles across my screen. The previous iteration kept it compact and neatly grouped.

Enough ranting apart from one more point. I have no idea if anyone else noticed this, but a little while ago the exterior camera went from having boundaries around the aircraft where it couldn’t zoom into, and at some point in the last few months these “boundaries” so to speak were removed. Now the exterior camera can pan all the way into the plane, if zoomed in enough and panned around, it can clip through engines cowlings, exposing running fanblades, and wheel wells. which i am absolutely certain it couldn’t do a while back. (unless this is device specific and no one else gets this thing) not sure if this is ever getting fixed/reverted. noted in the interest of being effectively a heads up for devs to amend something which nobody else has mentioned.

buji my man, note that Jan said the 777-200 had to be *done*, never *released*. The fact they built a -200F and released it clearly shows they have a 777-200/ER/LR series platform built and can keep using this to create other variants. Nothing says and neither has anyone specifically vouched against the fact that 2025 could bring other 777 variants into aerofly. We never know, it’s a game of patience.

    rant/whatever-you-wanna-call-this over, it’s 2am and i’m going to sleep.

  • The cargo bay doors are operable from the flight deck using the MFD. It’s disappointing that this aircraft lacks flap sounds.

The new caméra menu is horrid, the older, compact menu was easier to use. No need to reinvent the wheel…

  • Honestly very underwhelming aircraft, only new feature really is the apu. No falp sounds, engine sounds the same and overall not worth it.

Yeah not that many difference to the 777W I also don’t know why the devs won’t paint the aircraft properly. The 777F doesn’t not have panda eye windows, unlike the a320-321 the where the windows are in the wrong position and are not titled the 777F windows seem fine to me so I really don’t know what the reason is. It’s very distasteful. But still I appreciate the hard work that went into creating the aircraft its fun to fly, it only has a some flaws that should be worked on. The main landing gears are moving weird so I hope the fix that as well :)

Besides, who asked for a freighter? There are no dynamic weights so it’s useless and Jan himself stated that a 772 would be necessary to create a 77F anyway. Think about the hundreds of times the A330 has been mentioned…

I don't get why you all are complaining about the *addition* of an aircraft....

Not to mention the A319 literally just got added a month ago.

This is great because it clearly shows Aerofly has the ability to add variants of existing aircraft in a short time. A completely new model like the A330 or A350 obviously can't do that.

I've done a couple of flights with the 777F, and sure, it's more or less a shortened 777-300ER, but long-term if they fix one variant (engine sounds for example) they'll fix all at the same time.

  • I am not complaining, although there are slight letdowns with its features- It is good overall.

“It seems like a lazy rehash”

    “Really disappointing”

    “Who asked for a freighter”

Those are all complaints LOL 💀

I agree that there’s absolutely room for improvement, but nonetheless very impressive how fast Aerofly is dishing out these variants. Hoping the 737 Family is expanded in the near future.

  • I noticed the 777F gears bounce on landing, and the 777-300 doesn't have that. I'm just wondering if this was done on purpose.

Keep in mind that LSGG22 is slightly sloped, so it can be quite difficult to judge the rate of descent in relation to the runway's slope. Thus, landings there can be quite firm.

I agree but I think if they’re making an aircraft at least do it properly or put that time into improving the app instead of adding a pointless aircraft. But either way it’s still appreciated!
