Please do not change the application files directly. Instead just add an aircraft option to the user folder and make it default.

Otherwise it's a nightmare for us if your program makes a mistake and users start coming to us because their sim isn't working anymore.

I've shared a sample code a while ago to change the camera positions on the a320 with options in the user folder. You can do the same for the rigid body masses, the fuel prediction object zero fuel mass, the vspeeds, etc.

Ah yes, I can see that.

Even tough it only changes the the mass there could be some errors in my application that changes other things by accident.

I will look into doing it the other way and remove the download link for the current application.

Also make sure that you tell users where these modification options are saved so that in case they uninstall your software that their modifications need to be removed manually to restore the normal behavior.

At least in the user folder you just have to delete a few files and it's back to normal. But in the sim folder? Yeah, no, better don't touch these files. If your software changes the files in the installation folder then they may even have to reinstall the entire sim just to restore the correct settings.
