Pushback Tractor TLD 400 as an independent vehicle

  • When finishing the Hawaii project for the FS 4, I am always faced with the task of taking a closer look - especially at the last challenge PHNL. Since I copied the pushback tractor from the FS 4 equipment area into the aircraft area some time ago, I have been upgrading it to the last few days so far that I can drive it everywhere with it (provided that the surface also allows this).

The result can be downloaded from Flight-Sim.org:

I couldn't resist testing whether my now standalone version still works as a pushback version -- and it works both push and drag.:):):)

I'm glad that thanks to the open data structure of FS 4 on my Mac, I was able to implement all this "only" with a text editor, I was able to learn a lot.8)

  • Good evening Jan,

I did it like some time ago in consultation with you with the DR 400, and in Flight-Sim.org I describe how to load the version into the respective user directory.

But I'll also take the comment on the pushback function again if you prefer that.

  • For a few days I have been using the Pushback Tractor TLD 400 as an independent vehicle in my user directory.:)

I was interested in what else the TLD 400 can do:/. Even if the vehicle is actually only an auxiliary vehicle in the flight simulator, I was able to learn a lot about the interaction of the pushback.tmd and the controls.tmd. The most complex process was the functioning of the buttons on the moveable gear lever in the height-adjustable cabin.8)

The new version is available for download in Flight-Sim.org:

    The pictures show ...

    ... the height-adjustable cabin and the height-adjustable towbar ...

... as well as the operating options in the cockpit.

    Have fun trying it out.:)
