Other mobile sims have functioning jetways and ground services. It’s proven to be doable but would take time to model the animation.

Well yeah but at the level they have detail it might be a lot to render and plus they might have to redo things and make a whole new system I don't know

It’s a simulator. The more it simulates. The better a simulator it is. Everyone wants to experience ‘as real as it gets’ to quote another flight sim.

Simulate more of what goes on in the cockpit please, who wants an apron fuel, food and pooh simulator? Why not simulate washing the planes, an enormous job? Simulate everything imaginable and the cockpit will end up as a frozen 16 colour jpeg.

Couldn't IPACS develop a separate airport simulator with a passenger bridge, snow removal, customs inspection, duty free shops, a drug-searching dog, and a taxi that takes you into the city?
And the current one would remain a simple flight simulator...

I don't entirely agree with you, the whole package has to be right. It's not just about cockpits and the variety of aircraft.

Ground services
Hi Ipacs, I'd like to ask why the mobile and PC versions of Aerofly still lack ground services like aircraft ramps (staircases), buses, and other services already present in other flight simulator games (currently only the backhoe is available). While I didn't expect much from this, as the game is optimized for mobile devices and low-configuration PCs, I'm sure these features will be added in future updates. Thanks for reading.
777-300erMarch 3, 2026 at 7:50 AM There continues to be enthusiasm expressed from some new users for a form of specialised airport simulator, Aerofly does not seem to reach those who focus more on airport catering or driving baggage trolleys, the actual aircraft and the flying them about the place does not seem to greatly interest them. Perhaps there is an opporunity here for IPACS to establish a new revenue heritage? Annual subscription contributions could support ground breaking interactive airport activity and the introduction of less demanding surface-only two dimensions locked multiplay, could facilitate many thousands of users per session.
With 'Airport Simulator' there could be exciting ground service vehicle interactive races around and through the buildings and between and beneath the parked aeroplanes, there could be crowded baggage reclaim areas.
