• I only notice the cost when I’ve paid for it three times, comprehensive PC, iPadOS and finally Android.
I actually got the aircraft package duplicated into Android out of curiosity as the aircraft package’s Bf/Me109E ‘didn’t turn up’ in iPadOS and I double checked that it really was shown as part of the package in Android, obviously I didn’t get the 109 download in Android either (I cared far more about not getting the mobile 109 than I did for being charged for it).
The Aerofly flight sim costs are really very bearable.

The original Android aircraft package. I believe the 109 does not appear any more and extra aircraft are included.

When I was doing an aeroplane Private Pilot’s License course many decades ago a helicopter from a distant school turned up offering lessons. The helicopter was over twice as expensive as the aeroplanes and the plane students were permanently broke from paying for their flying lessons. The helicopter was made available for (addictive) twenty minute lessons! An hour in a U.K. Robinson R22 currently costs about £400/€475/US$490. That is the cost of real flying.
A payment towards simulated flying in AEROFLY is a different whole order of magnitude less expensive.

  • Unfortunately, the cost of the simulator in some countries is still comparatively expensive for users and there are users who do not have much money.
