We do definitely need more Airbus planes. Sure, the A350 is coming, but we need another after that. Compared to Boeing, airbus barely has any planes in aerofly. The A340 is a good solution to this issue. I requested both the -300 and -600 because they are the more major versions of the different engine options of the a340. The a340 is also a very unique plane, in aerofly, the first quad jet not to have some sort of second deck for passengers (A380, 747). It might not be the best plane financially for the company though, so I could understand if it wouldn’t get added for a while. Someone is currently building an A330. So if they would like to make this after their a330 is done (the a340 is really just an a330 with more engines and longer) that could also be an option. Building an A340 wouldn’t be as simple as “a330 wit 2 Mur engin” though, the flight model would also have to be worked on, the cockpit, ETC. (if you don’t wanna read the paragraphs I wrote, in summary, I hope for the a340-300/600 because someone is already creating an a330 which would make its release a bit easier if they wished to work on it.) A340-300 and 340-600?

The -600 would be nice lol. Peeeeencil

The 300 by the way theres no such thing as a quad jet it's called a jumbo jet

And that’s untrue
A jumbo jet colloquially refers to an aircraft such as B747 or A380 with two passenger decks. Quadjets cover aircraft with four engines. Please do some research before coming to false conclusions. -

Yeah, the a340 is probably my favorite Airbus plane. It would be so fun to fly, and the first plane in aerofly with 4 engines that isn’t a “Jumbo Jet”.

Another 4 engine jet would be great, how about a long before Airbuses late 1950s Boeing 707/720 with a beautiful first gen autopilot and authentic tricky Boeing 707/KC 135/B-47 era pioneering swept wing large aircraft handling(!) which would give us a refreshing change from yet another anonymous glass screen plastic SPAM CAN.
It would also be partially compatible with the existing Aerofly 737 fuselages and the 747 style kreuger flaps.

Really rooting for the 340-300 if they decide to add any to the sim, it’s one of my favorite airplane. Four screaming CFM’s what could be better

I flew one back in 2014 for Air France (F-GZLC if I remember correctly) and enjoyed it. However, the climbout did take over 35 minutes.
However, it would be nice to see it paired with an A330-300.

If they finish developing the a330, the a340 could be a possibility. Some difference with the wings, extra engine placement, but the general fuselage shape is the same as the a330's but just stretched (i could be wrong though).
The cockpit also has some differences, but is generally similar to the a330s as well

The only reason an Airbus climbs is because the earth is curved

That's not correct 😉

A340-600 ist cool

I like both but I’m more excited for the -300 variant since -300 has more airlines.
