Not sure if there is a bug forum, I have noticed that the sound for the Yellow HYD electric pump is faulty. If the pump runs for more than a few minutes, the sound continues even when the pump is offline. Nothing huge, hopefully fixed in a patch.

From someone who works on the 320-2 the pumps will be on for awhile as it is creating a suction/pressure if you just shut it down instantly there would be a chance where the tanks will implode as there is a sudden lost of suction/pressure hence why the PTU will still sound it’s like a mini turbine in a way think of it as a APU engine the engine will still spin when it’s off as your not removing the whole supply of it such as when you off a engine you cut out the fuel to it as the DC bus will still be on standby

Hi, thanks for the reply, the Yellow HYD pump shuts down, but the 'sound' never turns off. As in I can hear it after shutdown ,still running at my arrival gate. ECAM hyd page shows pump is offline and not pressurizing Yellow
To replicate - turn yellow hyd pump on for under a minute, will shut down normally. Leave it running for a few minutes, pump shuts down, but the sound of the pump is still stuck in memory on a loop, restarting the sim is the only way to get rid of the sound. PTU and all other sounds work normally.
Cheers

I can't replicate the issue. Can you please post a screenshot of the ECAM hydraulics page when the electric pump sound is still running but the switch is turned off?

Strange, just booted up, left the pump running for a few minutes, it is turning off as normal. only difference I can think is that I normally do multiple sectors when flying. Perhaps it only happens after multiple flights. Will test and let you know, not a huge deal as we don't need to use the Electric pump.
Btw, is there a place that lists the differences between the Beta and Live version? Also, if I switch to beta, does it overite the files in live, or is it a separate install.
Thanks

Actually it is important everything is there for a reason in a plane! It’s majestic how these metal Tin cans work! You should read up on Fcom of a plane it is really interesting with the amount of if else fault systems

Yes, I spent over 25 years in the Middle East (am 46 now) I had access to Gulf Air's A320 Level -D sims (and L1011 Tri star sims in the 90s) My Father was a skipper/training captain on the A330/340. I have read the FCOM/FCTM/QRH hundreds of times over the years

I meant the Yellow elec HYD pump is not needed in the 'FS4 sim', the Electric pump is used for the cargo doors, they open in Aerofly with the elec pump offline and zero pressure
test it yourself. We don't even have failures in the sim.The sim is very detailed, but it's not a study level sim.
