Some suggestions that would make a big difference 
1. Ability to draw straight legs from any point to any point. Old school. No automatic ILS approaches or STAR routes
2. Ability to change the order of existing waypoints
3. Virtual window in VR showing the map. And the ability to move it around (like "Little Navmap VR" on FS2020)
In MFS you can move the map within the map-window and also click on nav aids to reveal frequences or ILS courses, which is very useful.
You can zoom right into small detail on the AEROFLY nav page and guesstimate desired waypoint locations from an outside source. Not being able to save good data is a pain but we do get opening airliner cargo doors.
