Is weight simulated in aerofly?

    Some planes have a “IPad” to left/right of the pilots. On it, there’s a weight thing at the bottom for landing/takeoff. I’m just wondering if the weights that you input are actually simulated.

    (I’m not sure if the 787 also has this, but I know the 777 does)

    The weights displayed currently on the EFB should be the correct ones for that aircraft but I'm not 100% sure, because it's work in progress.

    Weights in the real aircraft don't change if you enter a weight into the EFB tablet or in the MCDU so this is not something that a good simulator should have. Instead, when aircraft mass is going to be adjustable, it's going to be a dedicated menu. So no hacks like 3rd party add-ons for other sims have to do.
