It is very easy to tell. The number on the PFD shows your altitude. When it shows zero means you’ve touched down. And for most planes it will have a negative number when the nose gear touches down.

Additional sounds can be added quite easily, i've added, ground roll sounds, touch down sounds for the A319, 321, recorded from the real aircraft.
Pm me if you want a copy

Can you explain or link to some information about how to add custom sounds to aircrafts in the sim please?

Ground roll sounds
Hello!
I've been out of the loop for a while, pleasantly surprised to see the A319, runs perfectly in VR. I was able to modify some sounds on the A320 years ago in FS2, I'd like to do the same for FS4 with the A319 (For some reason the sound designers leave out the ground roll sound) Feels very strange landing and not hearing the rumble from the gear etc, a bit of an anti climax with large speakers
What I'd like to do is increase the ground roll sound (if there actualy is one?) Like in MS2020/24…777DriverNovember 30, 2024 at 10:32 AM -
Excellent, bookmarked, thank you. I have a sound package for Airbus airplanes in XP12, I will try to see (someday
) if some of this sounds can be ported to AFS4 (of course it cannot be shared, but if it works I can show where to buy the sound package).

If I am not wrong it should say roll out when it touches the ground and your spoilers will be out

Not sure if you can private msg me on here? Anyway, am down in London atm, back home on the weekend. Let me know what (Airbus) aircraft you would like to have with modified ground roll sounds, I'll send you a link or talk you through the changes.
Keep in my mind I modify the sounds to work with big speakers and a bass transducer that vibrates the floor of my home cockpit, it might not sound as good with small speakers.

Sorry, I meant A319/20/21 I don't fly the A380 since its missing quite a few systems in FS4. Am hoping the A350 is more detailed, not holding my breath though.
