Some time ago, I tried to get a monthly subscription to Infinite Flight. I have to say that I personally did not like this trimmer control scheme. In my opinion, the most convenient option is an automatic trimmer like Aerofly. That is, if we talk about the mobile version, then Aerofly has the most convenient layout of automatic adjustment of steering surfaces for comfortable mobile gaming.

What didn’t you like about it ? I think the problem with the automatic trimmer is that it kills the joy of flying a Boeing or any other conventional plane cause we might as well stick to flying Airbus all the time

No, and for one reason, realism. Aerofly is meant to be realistic, and only having trim in the cockpit is how. There’s also auto trim that’s in the settings. But I understand this for people who want more casual unrealistic flying.

This would make the game more realistic… a conveniental doesn’t automatically trim for you… using your narrative there are already rudder , flap and throttle settings that can be used outside the cockpit but that is not unrealistic at all …

there’s auto trim in the 737 when you hit a certain speed you will hear it irl go EUUUUUUUUUUUU

But the pilot would still have to trim for configuration change

thats why we have buttons on the yoke:) to adjust if you cant fine change then use the big spiny spiny one

Almost all Airbus planes have auto trim, and the 787 also has auto trim.

Yeah but we can’t do that on mobile , it would be a nice function if we could

Yeah it’s Airbus’s philosophy

Per default all aircraft in Aerofly FS have auto-trim enabled, so that you aren't limited to aircraft with fly by wire only.

I personally like the Auto-trim. I‘ve also asked about this in the IFC. It makes the takeoff look so good also helps with unwanted pitching while changing flaps.

Is that only with the initial ‘Flight Assistant’ menu setting?
Compulsory in-game auto trim in the 737s would be most undesirable. I believe the earlier comment about auto trim engaging in the FS 737 above a certain speed is mistaken?

The 737 in the real world has auto trim as well. It's called speed trim and is active during takeoff. The 737 Max of course also has MCAS auto trim.
In Aerofly FS the assistance automatically trims the aircraft for you, yes. That is on top of what ever the airplane is doing. So for example if the autopilot is on then the assistance won't need to trim because the autopilot is already trimming the airplane.

Great idea! It would really help for Touch and Goes, every time I Touch down (on the 777/F) and wanna take off again the STAB TRIM warning comes up. And I don’t really have time to change the trim setting.

The 737 yoke ‘twin trim buttons’ thankfully work as a single unit when finger swiped and are far more responsive and reliable than trying to swipe the big trim wheels which has always been hit or miss. I change trim now with the yoke button swipe as it is easier and quicker.
I hadn’t realised that WAR_C’ meant the Mach trim which I presume is present in most jet airliners. Excluding the Max the 737 in manual flight surely has flight stability and configuration change horizontal stabiliser trim controlled by the pilot’s manual inputs apart from the related discrete speed dependent manual flight elevator neutral position bias determined by the flight control computer’s Mach trim algorithm which kicks in above Mach 0.615. Speed Control trim is active in the absence of manual trimming from just after take off to just before Mach trimming and is limited to stabiliser adjustments to oppose airspeed changes, it does not react to aircraft configuration or directly to power changes. It also doesn’t directly stabilise in pitch.
Anyway the Aerofly 737 horizontal stabiliser trim seems to be manual when in auto pilot off flight at modest speeds and I’m happy with the way it is.

There’s no improper indication to tell if the aircraft is in trim or not , that what my suggestion is about

It's about how you hold your mobile device or how close to full scale the Analog 'finger box' cursor is. Try the Learjet on manual and do 3 or 4 take offs and landings to see how you end up holding your device above your head!
(The Aerofly cure trick is to select the secondary trim function on the Learjet centre console. Otherwise stop on the runway each time and centre the glass screen's trim indication).
