Real world charts are currently not planned but the OIS is going to have a useful map and have a chart clipboard with place-holder items for now. My goal is to eventually create a chart-like display but as you can imagine this will take a lot of time and I don't want to delay the A350 just for that.

What about pdf?, i mean like a folder to put charts there and then you can open it from the OIS of the aircraft, it would be very difficult to implement? (Just asking, i don't have knowledge about it)

There is no easy PDF reader that we can use that works on all of our platforms and allows simple rasterization of parts of the document as far as I know. It would need to support: Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, etc. run offline, be lightweight, i.e. less than 100mb or preferably less. And it needs to support all kinds of vector drawings as well.
