One of my only complaints I have with FS4 are the cumulus clouds - to be honest they just don’t look good and look very outdated. Are there any plans to upgrade the cloud visuals in the near future? I think volumetric clouds would elevate the sim to another level.
Better clouds

Volumetric clouds would look better but we also have to think of cross platform compatibility. The majority of our customers are using the mobile versions of the game and mobile devices do not yet support newer rendering techniques such as ray tracing as well as a PC might.

The maximum cumulus cloud density looks something like the old 3/8 to 4/8 of sky coverage.
It denies a consistent and reliable likelihood of the clouds NOT breaking during an attempted low approach to an airfield (from just below the minimum cloud altitude of about 1,200 feet and higher) with a desired nominal visual conditions decision altitude or minimum descent altitude.
Could the maximum coverage be increased to 8/8? A cloud break is more common than groping through dense fog and currently the clouds are simply not dense enough to simulate really nice marginal conditions.

Will the rainy weather be added?

Yes, weather would be cool!

If I‘m not wrong rfs has volumetric clouds.

That may be true, but it's of no use to us here 🤷

Would rain, thunderstorm be added?

IPACS should take a look at the Condor 3 simulator's weather. They don't have volumetric clouds, but have a very good weather simulation. For me, something like that would already be very cool in Aerofly. And, in my case, that would make me use Aerofly more for my training, not just for a bit of flying fun

This would be great. Actually I am learning a lot about gliders in Condor 3 and enjoying flying in gliders anywhere in the world in Aerofly FS/FS4.
