In memory of the RAFs Aérospatiale SA 330 Pumas history and upcoming retirement on Wednesday, I thought I’d try my luck and propose a new aircraft idea which is obviously the puma if you’ve read this far;). Helicopter which served a lot of purposes throughout its history in the RAF and civilian life in and around Europe. From casevac missions in Afghan to Humanitarian and disaster relief operations since 1971. The Twin engined transport and utility beauty has seen a wide range of all sorts of uses through its life and so I think a great way to honor it would be to add it in to the our amazing sim. Considering there’s no fully fledged puma in any sim across aviation simulators I think having a full fidelity puma would allow users to enjoy the challenge of helicopters whilst appreciating their beauty.

And again i know these requests are always being thrown at you ipacs so id just like to say thank you for all the hard work and effort from the team and wether you read this myself and all the other users are very grateful.

It’s gonna be sad to see her go

I tested the EC225 Super Puma from Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. I loved it. It would be interesting in Aerofly. Another helicopter that I really wanted in Aerofly is the AgustaWestland AW139 or Sikorsky S-92.

I’d love to have some of the AWs in the sim. They are literally the sports cars of helicopters and wow do they look good

A German helicopter from 1940. Practically the predecessor of the Kaman helicopters.
