Unfortunately, in the current FS 4-Beta version 4.07.01.01 (20250408) in the menu LOCATION on the map "Choose your starting location" the existing position display of the mouse pointer is missing. The display of the position with 6 digits after the point is very helpful in the development of the scenery.
FS 4-beta - in LOCATION the display of the pointer position is missing

Do you have the developer settings enabled in the main.mcf?
Please check if the tm.log file contains a text entry starting with "selected location lon/lat". This is the selected start position when you exit the location menu. You can copy-paste this usually.
Alternatively you can also use the navigation menu.

Yes

Thanks for the hint, but it doesn't help me with exact positioning in the context of the development of scenery. Sometimes it is necessary to position an aircraft as accurately as possible for testing - and this is only possible if the display in the LACATION menu is present.

Unfortunately, this does not help when positioning by moving the airplane symbol.
Please take a look at my post from 10/27/2023, we have already had this point in the past ...

... - and I am grateful that it was then solved constructively by IPACS with 6 places after the point in the sense of us volunteer employees. -
@IPACS
Please add the display of the position again in the LOCATION menu as soon as possible. At the moment I find it very frustrating not to be able to position an aircraft exactly when testing scenery. I urgently need this to position and orient this exactly when positioning lighting, vehicles and especially of GROUNDTEXT, TAXISIGNS and JETWAYS.
The display of the position is nothing new, but a long-standing component that I still use and need intensively.

@ IPACS:
Great that the new beta version 5.07.01.03 (20250429) again shows the position in the map LOCATION - thank you very much.

Let’s say I’m also interested in the convo because of micro-synthetic and the airport handling.
When will be the beta version for MacOS be released? Even just on TestFlight?
